II. Weixinism propagates Chinese culture and Yi-Ching. 3. Propagation plays a role in the evolution of world peace. Grand Master Huen-Yuan established Weixinism, a philosophy that holds that, “all laws are created by the heart. When one focuses on the purity of one’s own soul and heart, everything can come true.” Thus, Weixinism means, “all laws find their origin in the heart, and the heart is the supreme doctrine.” The heart is the united center of everything. And everything is united into one. This “unity” is Yi, and Yi works with the heart. Hence, Yi is the unity of the heart, and vice versa. Yi holds the sun and the moon and the Yin and Yang are its “Tao”. Therefore, Weixinism considers Yi Ching Xin Fa (the heart and essence of Yi-Ching) as its source. It expounds on Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, practices Neutrality, propagates Chinese culture, and promotes the legacy of Yi-Ching and Feng Shui studies. It looks into the transformations of myriad things in the universe, aiming at four doctrines, which include: World peace, above all, is the goal of Wenxinism. Hence, Grand Master Huen-Yuan is both a religious master and educator. He combines religion with education to create comprehensive religious education. For that reason, he is a religious educator. His ambition and his life work is the achievement of world peace and universal harmony. He is a practitioner of Yi, of the beyond, of the unity of knowledge and action. He is unquestionably a follower of world peace. All forms and changes originate from the heart. Weixinism is an approach to peace and altruism. Peace comes from one’s heart. Only those with inner peace can establish harmonic relationships with others and their surroundings. It is the essence of harmonious person-to-person and person-to-community connections. Moreover, it is the basis of social harmony, national security, and world and universal peace. It works to cultivate and pacify the heart, words and the soul. Therefore, Weixinism works to achieve peace and elevate the personal soul internally, and promote Yi-Ching, Feng Shui, and the Chinese cultural orthodox lineage externally. It cultivates “Tao” for the nation and prays for all mankind. Grand Master Huen-Yuan has said the source of Weixinism is, “Chinese cultural orthodoxy, which is based on Yi-Ching and Feng Shui studies. It combines Buddhism and Taoism. It respects human nature. It addresses our inner nature. It cultivates Tao for the nation. It prays for good fortune for people. World peace is its hearty wish.” He also remarked, “Today I am here to introduce Weixinism to the world. I pray that through the truth of Yi, disturbed human hearts will open and accept a life of security, happiness and enlightenment. We have a genuine wish for world peace. We pray for an end to calamities. By practicing Weixinism, we will be able to fulfill some of our duties and appeal for permanent world peace.” Moreover, he noted, “The essence of Yi-Ching is the ultimate approach…. If one wants liberation and to understand the right way of life, only Yi-Ching Xin-Fa and Feng-Shui laws can provide the honest and perfect answer. Through mastery of such, one will learn how people and Nature can live in harmony, how man and the universe can live together, and how to live peacefully with all of life’s laws ... Nowadays, the Yi in Weixinism has evolved beyond mere research, study and deduction into the application and the transformation of its core principles and tenets. It is Yi for the 21st century.” Chinese culture is a peace culture. Yi-Ching and Feng Shui are the studies of Peace. Grand Master Huen-Yuan founded Weixinism not only to promote Chinese culture and the studies of Yi-Ching and Feng Shui worldwide, but also to initiate the further development of world peace. Weixinism today plays a profound role in the progress and promotion of world peace. Chinese culture has its origins in the ancient Kun-Lun civilization, a creation of our ancestors in remote past who observed celestial phenomena, studied the effects of geographical features and discovered the natural and cooperative laws inherent in Nature. Yi-Ching is the quintessence of Chinese culture. Feng-Shui is a part of Yi-Ching that may be employed in every phase of human life and in all types of social interaction. It is an application of natural laws, the ultimate goal of which is to achieve harmony with the universe, harmony between heaven and earth, and harmony between humankind and all life. In this way, Peace Study paves the way forward to world peace. Its tenets embrace as well the fields of ecology, environmental protection, and cultural anthropology. With regard to the relationships amongsts Weixinism and Chinese culture promotion, Yi-Ching and Feng Shui, and world peace development, Grand Master Huen-Yuan has said, “All beings and laws are interdependent. Nothing is alone on earth. It is reality and the truth as it has existed for hundreds and thousands of years. It will remain so long into the future …. Weixinism is the way to actualize the ways of orthodox Yi-Ching and Feng Shui, architecture, and other ancient wisdom. Also, the studies of Yi-Ching and Feng Shui will be our closest partner in the future. They are the key to people getting along with one another in harmony ... Yi-Ching, Feng Shui, and world peace are closely interlinked. Since January 1983, Weixinism has preached the natural rules of heaven and earth, applying Yi-Ching and Feng Shui to eliminate worries and troubles, especially with regard to the influence of Feng-Shui in places of residence. We have proven Weixinism can enhance health and success at all ages. We have seen remarkable improvement in the making residences, factories and schools much more harmonious and beneficial after with the application of Feng-Shui…. Over the past 28 years, Weixinism has served the people using methods grounded in Yi-Ching and Feng Shui. It has demonstrated itself as a way to propagate world peace, as a lighthouse on the shore … We pray that world peace will soon be realized through adherence to Weixinism.” |
